The world of Eternal Magica is a world of fantasy set in a Medieval time period. A land where people gather and explore a new and dangerous land, seeking treasures and glory, a site where camaraderie and fellowships can form.
The Story
Prologue
On the world of Eternal Magica, there exist the Great Empire of Ende. In which many races have learned to coexist, this empire has prospered for generations despite the monsters that roam in the wilds. Over the last decade, the Emperor, Franco III has made several edicts to expand the borders of the empire, his eyes set on an unclaimed lands to the west of his borders.
However, the land of Velen is wild and dangerous. All attempts at settling his subjects there have failed. Monsters attacks and other threats keep Franco's people from inhabiting this lush but untamed land. Only one settlement has been able to prosper, built around the Hyo Shin Fortress. A site where frontiersmen, adventurers, fortune seekers, settlers gather. The point from which the secrets and mysteries of Velen can be unraveled.
Chapter 1
The seasons pass and day after day, soldiers of Hyo Shin die at the hands of monsters attacks. With no second settlement, the roads between the fortress and the farms are dangerous enough for people to disappear or appear dead in the forest in the mornings. The once loyal, fearless soldiers of the Fortress now think twice before volunteering for night patrols or to guard the roads and the menace of new dangers threatens Franco's leadership obligating him to take action to the situation.
As a last resource and given the current circumstances, Franco sent a well guarded messenger to the College of Magic in the frontier requesting for their help in exchange of letting them build a research facility within the city walls. Also allowing their researchers to do as they pleased with monsters without being questioned. With his people dying and brute force not being enough to keep everyone safe, Franco hoped for the best as he awaited the return of his messenger from the College...
