In the Fantasy world of Eternal Magica we don't want you to roleplay by yourself, everyone will get the chance to RP with everyone and to do so we have designed two simple mechanisms to allow it.
Guilds
Guilds
Guilds in Eternal Magica take an important role as they are the pillars for our society. Being in a guild not only is a privilege, it will also grant you recognition and respect towards others. By being part of a guild your character will be able to obtain the many benefits that guilds come with and that will help you in your adventures. While being part of a guild is not necessary, it is highly recommended for players to join one or form a new one to be eligible from its benefits and to be part of the many events that will come with it. Down below you will find listed all the benefits that you can get by joining a guild:
If you wish to form a new Guild you need to meet the following requirements:
- Permission to join in "Guild Quests" and "Guild raids".
- Full Access to the Guild house, a safe (free)place to rest and prepare for your adventures.
- Be eligible to participate in Guild conquest quests, defend or assault battles.
- Have access to our special Guild shop store where you and your friends will be able to buy expansions such as extra rooms, training grounds, etc.
- Get access to Guild-only sets and weapons to further improve your character (with consent of the Guild Master).
If you wish to form a new Guild you need to meet the following requirements:
- Have at least 3 people willing to Sign a Guild Contract with you (3 + the guild founder).
- Have a Minimum of 2 characters in the Guild after it's formed to avoid disbands.
- Create a thread in which you, the Guild master and 3 extra members sign up a "Guild Contract" and deliver it with the Guild creation fee to one of our NPCs which will appear in said thread to make everything possible for you.
Parties
In Eternal Magica be it that you choose to explore by yourself or with your guild... even with strangers! you can easily do so with a Party system that we created. While inside the city it is not really necessary but when you are out scouting for missions you will be allowed to form or join a party with people doing the same quest that you are in! To form a party you need to:
General Notes:
- Take the desired quest you wish to do with a party (usually tagged as "party quest").
- Wait for the spots to fill in as other people join in with you.
- Start your adventure with your new party!
General Notes:
- There are no requirements to form or join a new party.
- You can also be in different guilds and still quest together.
- There are some exceptions such as "Guild quests" that are limited to members of the same guild only.
- You can also form or join a party for quests that are not tagged as "Party quests".
- New characters willing to join an existing guild don't have to pay a fee, however, they're required to sign up their contract in the thread used for that Guild's creation. After receiving consent from the Guild Master then that character will be allowed to join without problems.
- Characters willing to leave a Guild will simply have to reply to the Guild's creation thread signing up their withdrawal from it. The NPC in charge will then receive the character's petition and approve it. Leaving a guild will mean that you will lose all the benefits that you had with it.
- Armors and Weapons obtained through Guild quests will be bounded to the Guild and only usable by its guild members. If a member withdraws from a Guild and they're using items from it, those items will instantly go back to the guild vault and the character will receive the equipment they had Prior joining the Guild. This will ensure that no one joins up a guild to steal from them and then walk away with it.
